Anachronisms 

While most of film is a flashback set in early Thirties, all of the costumes and hairstyles are straight out of the early Fifties.

Audio/visual unsynchronised 

In the nightclub on New Year's Eve, the drummer does a drum roll and then a cymbal is heard without the drummer hitting the cymbal.

Continuity 

When Sally and Chris place their drink orders in the Troika bar we see Sally's jacket is buttoned up. The camera cuts back to Sally after Chris sitting opposite her utters one short sentence and her jacket is now unbuttoned in readiness to be removed.

In Sally's room while eating, Laurence Harvey has a fork in his right hand and then in the next shot his hand is on his side and his right hand reaches over the plate to pick up the fork again.
