Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in The Haunted Mansion, based on the ride at Disney's theme parks. Guillermo del Toro would direct, making this the best and also the strangest combination ever. Of course, this would be a completely separate film from 2003's The Haunted Mansion, which starred Eddie Murphy. No offense to Murphy or Disney, but this one sounds much better. Gosling started his career with Disney (in The Mickey Mouse Club) and has a history of visiting the park. Fun fact: According to The Hollywood Reporter, he and del Toro rode the ride together during Oscar weekend this year, making the news even more believable. But what would the plot be and who would Gosling play? We need details. »
Like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling got his start on Disney's "The Mickey Mouse Club" as a child star. Since then, he's become quite the heartthrob and an amazing talent on the big screen, and now he's headed back to the House of Mouse. The Wrap reports Gosling is currently in talks to take a role in Guillermo del Toro's long developing adaptation of Haunted Mansion, the classic Disney theme park attraction. The project has been in the works for years ever since del Toro made the announcement at Comic-Con back in 2010. Can it finally come together soon? There's no timetable for the project, but if the studio is starting to round up a cast, then it might be closer to getting in front of cameras than we thought. There's no word on what role Gosling would take, or even what the story »

Keri Russell turns 39 this week, making us get all nostalgic for her big breakout role as a college student on Felicity, which premiered on The WB in 1998 (and was created by J.J. Abrams!). The college-set drama made Russell more than the curly haired girl from the The Mickey Mouse Club and introduced us to a pair of TV crushes: Scott Foley and Scott Speedman. Since it's been so long since the show has ended but its original stars have been making moves, it's a good time to check in on where the Felicity cast is now. Source: ABC »
Thanks to Keri Russell's hit TV show The Americans, the actress is having a moment. Well, another moment in a career full of memorable moments, that is. Keri, who turns 39 on Monday, has been in Hollywood for more than two decades, winning over fans on The Mickey Mouse Club and making appearances on shows like Boy Meets World and 7th Heaven before starring in Felicity in the late '90s. Since then, she's made a name for herself both on screen and in the style world, becoming a fashion girl with more than a few Pinterest-worthy looks. With photos spanning from 1999 to now, take a look back at some of Keri's most stunning snaps. »
Britney Spears could have been a royal princess. Well, maybe. Back in 2002, the pop star appeared on The Frank Skinner Show, and she revealed that Prince William stood her up before she started dating Justin Timberlake. Although she said that it was "all blown out of proportion," she also admitted, "We exchanged emails for a little bit, and he was supposed to come and see me somewhere, but it didn't work out." The host joked, "Go with the brother. He's much more fun." During the interview, Britney also talked about the movie Crossroads, her comments on virginity, her favorite way to spend her free time, and her then-current relationship with Justin Timberlake. She explained that they "really liked each other" when they were both on The Mickey Mouse Club, saying they lost touch for a few years, but the first time they saw each other again, there were butterflies and they started going out. »
This is the kind of gyrating that gets you a spot on The Mickey Mouse Club. Ryan Gosling, who was 12 in the above video, cut a rug to a remix of Cathy Dennis' "Touch Me (All Night Long)," which might epitomize pop radio of 1992 better than any other song. Gosling takes center stage while a bevy of female dancers writhe around him. Pretty spectacular. You need Hammer pants to glide around like that. »

It's been a tough year for some kids on reality shows.
From Here Comes Honey Boo Boo to Friday Night Tykes to the kids of Real Housewives with parents getting divorced or going to jail, it could be hard to understand why a parent would want to broadcast their child’s development for all the world to see -- even if they’re able to pay for college down the road with talent fees.
Child advocates who we spoke to said that there aren't enough regulations, especially for shows shot outside California, to protect kids from being overworked and exploited. Unlike the push for a "no kids" policy in paparazzi photos -- which was supported by Kristen Bell and other celebrity parents -- there’s been no coordinated campaign focused on kids on reality shows.

A Mouse Club divided against itself cannot stand. Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears have known each other since they were both Mouseketeers on The Mickey Mouse Club back in the early '90s, so it makes sense that Aguilera would have internalized her peer's vocal stylings. But we weren't prepared for this. Jimmy Fallon brought out his Wheel of Musical Impressions bit during Aguilera's visit to The Tonight Show on Monday, and Aguilera, 34, wound up drawing her rival for early 2000s-era pop domination. Her impression of Spears is uncanny, to say the least. Aguilera's returning to The Voice for its »
