Despite the 17 years since the original, the troopers haven't grown out of their sophomoric humor. The teaser opens with the threat of a "balls-shaving" sequence before they're mercifully called into action by their Captain (actor Brian Cox, reprising his role from the 2001 comedy).
"Seriously, cut the crap guys!" The boys are back! Fox Searchlight has released an official teaser trailer for the long-awaited sequel Super Troopers 2, hitting theaters next spring some 17 years after the first movie became a huge hit. This ultimate stoner comedy picks up where the first one left off and follows the Super Troopers who are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in a border area between the Us and Canada. Pretty much everyone is back: Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Brian Cox, Lynda Carter, and Marisa Coughlan. The newcomers include Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Lowe, Tyler Labine, Will Sasso, and Hayes MacArthur. This actually looks like it's going to be fun, just what the doctor ordered. Sixteen years ago, “Super Troopers” hit theaters. It was mildy diverting, with some funny bits that will live forever on YouTube, but I didn’t imagine anybody would care to see more. Well, there were enough people who wanted a followup, that an Indiegogo campaign was successfully funded, so here we are with “Super Troopers 2.”

It's been 15 long years, but we finally have the first teaser trailer for Broken Lizard's Super Troopers 2 and it's amazing. It was recently announced that the movie will come out on April 20th, 2018 and ever since then, fans have been clamoring for some footage of the sequel and though it's short, the clip does not disappoint. There's some nods to familiar gags, but they don't seem like a rehash at all, which is smart and a good sign for the rest of the movie.
The R-rated red-band trailer comes to us courtesy of the official Broken Lizard YouTube channel and features the whole gang. "Thorny" Ramathorn (Jay Chandrasekhar), "Rabbit" Roto (Erik Stolhanske) "Rod" Farva (Kevin Heffernan) and Mac (Steve Lemme) are all here, starting with a rookie shave sequence for Rabbit, who apparently is still the rookie after all these years. While the teaser doesn't reveal any of the »

It has now been officially announced. Super Troopers 2 has a release date of April 20th, 2018, and we have a sneak peek into what the highly anticipated sequel is going to be about. Rumblings of the release date appeared earlier this week when actor and Broken Lizard founding member Steve Lemme (Mac) revealed that Super Troopers 2 had an obvious release date on a Friday in the spring. That coy comment instantly gave away the 4/20 release date, but now Fox Searchlight has confirmed the news.
Super Troopers 2 will take place on the Border between the United States and Canada and will pit the boys up against a border dispute this time around. The official synopsis reads.

As he notes in an account of the night on his Facebook page, Farley soon noticed something was different about this passenger than any other he had picked up in his year as an Uber driver.

An Orlando driver is lucky to be alive.
On Saturday morning, a Mack truck driver hauling scrap metal was driving westbound on the State Road 528 exit to Interstate 4 when he lost control of his truck, struck the guardrail and overturned.
As the truck tipped over, a large metal pipe tumbled off the overpass and landed on top of 36-year-old Jesus Armando Escobar’s Pontiac van, crushing it.
“Another foot to the left and he would be dead,” Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes tells People. “He had no idea. He didn’t see it coming. It came down right in the middle of his van. »

He was serving four life sentences after his 1987 conviction for the murders of 25 people, most of them at Drake Hospital in Cincinnati. The “Angel of Death” tag stuck because he was often at his victims’ bedside. »

Although he hasn’t seen the movie yet, Wilcox, who starred with Erik Estrada on the NBC show from 1977 to 1983, isn’t sold on the new raunchy premise.
“I have not seen the film but the trailers looked like a soft-porn version of ‘Dumb and Dumber,'” Wilcox told the Associated Press. “However, I hear the actors are both very talented and funny, so maybe it all works.” He said he’ll likely “wait for the video” instead of watching the pic in theaters.
