An interesting portrait of human problems in different social classes.
13 December 2012 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

Pedro, Manolo and Juan, are three children naughty and full of hope, that they go out with their tins collecting money for missions. Near the end of the day, a car ran over one of them being driven to a nearby hospital. The head of the school, ignoring which of the injured children is called the parents of the three to come to the health center while, in parallel, it tells the story of three families. In the upper-class family, the father is leaving the mother for another woman in the middle class, one of the sisters of children invited to dinner at her boyfriend and revolutionizes the family and, finally, in the lower class, the boy's father is willing to be an accomplice to a crime.

Director Elorrieta through his films, has managed to perfectly reflect the mentality, customs and ways of life of Spanish through the fifties and sixties. In "Tres huchas para Orientet" mix characters from different social classes to show that everyone has problems.

The film has a good cast, which stand out for her recent disappearance Lina Canalejas, superb actress of strong character and will remember her beginnings in 'La vida en un bloc' (1952), directed by Ismael Merlo in Theatre Comedy of Madrid, its name and gleamed on posters. From then alternated magazines ('Las cuatro copas') with comedy (' Prohibido suicidarse en Primavera ' and 'Irma La Douce ') or a dramatic raid ("La Casa de la Chivas', 1970).

The Cinema was soon knocking on her door. From 'Así es Madrid' (1953) and 'Tres huchas para Oriente' (1954) had the opportunity to work in about fifty titles. Moviegoers will remember, above all, for her role in 'La viudita naviera' (Luis Marquina, 1963), along with Paquita Rico and Arturo Fernandez, and the excellent 'El Mundo sigue' (1965), the third feature of Fernando Fernan-Gomez as director, and was cursed for his film censorship problems, and is now considered one of the finest works of the author.
