Sex & Nudity

Suggested MPAA Rating: PG for Some Frightening Moments

We see a woman putting on her bra, from the rear.We see her bare back till then. The same woman dances around in her house, in bra and panties.

There are several kisses between a main couple, with accompanying mild innuendo.

It's implied that a young newlywed couple is having sex exhaustively, but nothing is shown and it's played for laughs.

The main character's girlfriend comes over to nurse him back to health. When another character comes over and sees some of her clothes he assumes that she has spent the night. The main character corrects him on this.

The main character uses binoculars and a telephoto camera lens to spy on his neighbors. This is done out of curiosity and boredom, not sexual interest, but several references are made to "Peeping Toms".

Violence & Gore

The plot revolves around a man who murdered his sick wife and stuffed her dismembered body into several suitcases. Frank mention is made of the suspected gory details, and some of the related dialogue can be graphic.

[Spoiler] It's implied that a small dog is killed, though it isn't shown onscreen.

A man tries to push a paralyzed man out of a window. The latter man falls out of the window, but recovers safely. The scene is very intense.

Profanity

Some smoking scenes.

The main character and his friends enjoy a glass of brandy.

A woman across the way attempts to commit suicide by overdosing on pills

A man picks up another man in a wheelchair and tries pushing him out a window, he falls out and is almost caught by other people. This scene is intense for some viewers.

Due to the violent subject matter of the film (see the violence section), a majority of scenes are extremely intense and are guaranteed to frighten very young viewers.

A small dog is killed which may be upsetting.

Rated PG for: Adult Content, Mild Violence.(HBO advisory)
