Good But Unoriginal.
26 March 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have seen The Three Stooges short film Out West, which I thought was very hysterical, and I have seen this remake, Pals And Gals. Sure, this short is good and funny, but a large majority of it is unoriginal. What I mean is there is a lot of footage in this short that is just borrowed from the earlier short, I don't mind that at all, but they still could have done something pretty original, rather than borrow a LARGE amount of stock footage from earlier shorts. So in short, this Three Stooges short film is good, but I have pretty much seen it before.

I have said this loads of times, but I will say it once more. I really find it a pity that by this time in their career, The Three Stooges were not really able to make that many new and original shorts. I have nothing against them remaking shorts, but why did they have to remake shorts that basically were only a few years old, why?! So this short is good, but it is unoriginal.

Well all in all, this is enjoyable, but only if you loved the original. See this short for yourself before you judge it, because who knows, you may like it better than the original. Well I saw the original before I saw this one, and so because of that, I ended up not liking this short as much as I hoped.
