This is the second of three cartoons teaming Porky and Sylvester, continuing his non-speaking role as Porky's cat in a spooky setting where only Sylvester is aware of the danger the pair are in. The other two films in the series are Scaredy Cat (1948) and Jumpin' Jupiter (1955)
The house silhouette Porky drives by at the opening has an almost human appearance.
The large shadow and small object would also be seen in the cartoon What's Opera, Doc in 1957. The optical illusion was used in films and TV as well, including the Star Trek franchise, among others.
As in his other pairings with Porky, Sylvester does not speak in this short.
When Porky and Sylvester first enter the lobby, the cobwebs on the chandelier form the outline of a spooky owl. Just for a moment.
