Merrie MelodiesWhat's the difference? See this FAQ entry.
Many television airings of this short, such as on ABC, Cartoon Network and the syndicated Merrie Melodies Show, would remove the entire scene with Baby-Face Finster pulling a gun on Bugs, who thinks it is really a toy, only to find out the truth about it the hard way (by getting shot in the face). In addition, ABC would also delete the following two scenes: 1) Bugs, after learning of Finster's true identity, catching him climbing the bookshelf to retrieve the bag full of money from atop, grabbing him and violently shaking him while accusing him of playing with the "dirty money" (this was due to some who felt this was an example of Shaken Baby Syndrome); and 2) The scene that immediately followed this one, in which Bugs places Finster in a washing machine, following his handling of the "dirty" money, then throwing him up in the air, but not bothering to catch him and letting him fall flat on his face. As a result of the two edits, it seemed like Finster simply landed on his face from falling atop the shelf in trying to scale it to retrieve the money. Some syndicated airings of this short on local television stations only shortened the scene of Bugs shaking Finster violently after the former caught the latter trying to retrieve the money.
