Cue the fanfare. Here we are. Four designers going to Fashion Week! (Ok, more than four, but let’s focus on these.) Two hours of Project Runway bliss! Everyone is grateful and all, “We are living our dreammmm!” Typing that just gave me a sudden idea: Project Runway: The Musical. Somebody make this happen!
But back to the final four, I have to make a correction: everyone is happy except for Christopher. Immediately after the critique from last week, while everyone else is celebrating, Christopher is an angry bird! He says, I won four challenges, bitches! This means I win! (Uh, no it doesn’t.) Why were you mean to me?!
Next day in the workroom, Christopher’s anger has devolved into a sad mopey mess which is exhausting. Everyone else is taking the judges’ critiques to heart and plunging into making changes, »

Dem babies aren't so little anymore!
Among the many pictures that the proud parents posted, several show the twins cuddled up at home with mom and dad. Others show their stylish sides - with Monroe posing in a shimmering evening gown and Moroccan looking precious in spaceship pajamas and a sideways hat.
Of all the shots, our favorite has to be the one of Roc covering his face from the camera, while Roe follows in her mom's footsteps and struts her stuff in a bright red dress and sunglasses. Too funny!

Dallas-based Big Headz Entertainment filed suit today in Los Angeles Superior Court against Jmpb Inc. (aka Mbp) and One Three Television, both of which have ties to prolific reality show producer Mark Burnett. The complaint alleges failure to properly account for revenues of the MTV show entitled Bully Beatdown. (You can read it here.) It claims Mbp is controlled by Burnett and One Three TV also is controlled by Burnett as well as the assignee of Mbp’s rights to Bully Beatdown. Big Headz says it initially entered into an agreement in 2007 to develop Bully Beatdown which aired on MTV in 2009 and 2010. Big Headz says it received from Mpb in 2011 only three “incomplete, inaccurate, and misleading” financial reports which claimed that increased production costs resulted in zero payments because Bully Beatdown was operating at a loss. Big Headz wants a full access to Mbp’s books and records relating to the series, »

Jamie Lynn Spears always planned to follow in her big sister's footsteps, using a Disney show to springboard into a singing career. But Jamie Lynn skipped the singing step and jumped right into having babies, temporarily derailing her plans for stardom.
Photos - Jamie Lynn's Daughter Got So Big!
But now that daughter Maddie is almost 3, Jamie Lynn is giving music another try and performed a set last night at 3rd & Lindsley in Downtown Nashville. The first big step on her path to country music stardom. Several songs from her "concert" have hit YouTube and I was particularly impressed with I Look Up to You -- a song that Jamie Lynn wrote about her sister, Britney.

Wizkid has said that his label boss Akon is like an older brother to him. The 'Lonely' singer signed Wizkid to his Konvict Muzik label in April and the Nigerian rapper told Digital Spy that they have a great working relationship. "He's like a big brother to me," he said. That's the kind of relationship we've maintained since we started working. "It's not like a boss and artist relationship, it's like a big brother to a younger brother relationship and he's a great guy. So big shout-out to Akon and the Konvict Muzik crowd." Of Akon travelling to Nigeria to sign him to his label, Wizkid added: "He's showed me support in every way and that was definitely a good thing. "We went from my shows together, we went to perform together, he's shown me a lot of love... It's (more) »

Radioactive Russian mutants failed to scare up much money while a pair of big budget bombs prepare for their own memorial services this Memorial Day weekend.
The good news for Men in Black 3 is that the threequel sci-fi comedy dethroned The Avengers after four weeks on top of the box office by taking in about $70 million. The bad news? It was expected to open to about $90 million, and reports have the movie's hefty price tag at somewhere in the neighborhood of $375 million after combining its budget, marketing, and distribution costs. Will Smith's first film after a four-year hiatus opened big internationally so the studio probably isn't worried too much about losing Battleship-sized money.
Speaking of the rapidly sinking Battleship, its $10.8 million »

Snow recently coated Springfield, cancelling school, so a boy nicknamed Bart and two friends spent the morning building a snowman on the corner of Fifth Street. So big did they roll the two main mounds that they could not hoist one on to the other. Bart had an idea: "They look like testicles. Let's add a penis."
Three hours of dedicated effort later, a three-metre phallus towered over the corner of Fifth Street, delighting its creators and infuriating an elderly neighbour who arrived in a motorised wheelchair. "Disgusting! Indecent!" she cried, jabbing the sculpture with a pole until it crumpled. Bart was defiant. "We'll build it back bigger and straighter."
Welcome to Springfield. Not the cartoon version, where Bart Simpson wreaks mayhem in a fictional town, but the real place, »

I had a revelation recently when chatting with my colleague Mandi Bierly about her sharing a dish of lobster mac and cheese with Pauly Shore during a recent interview. (You could ask her for details on that story, but that’s really all there is to it.): My life is weird.
In the past week, I’ve party-stalked Charlie Sheen (with no luck getting two minutes alone for an interview), talked about Titanic with Ringer’s Ioan Gruffudd (he’s in it!), watched Megan Mullally steal from my colleagues, and hung out with the cast of the fantastic new drama Scandal. »

Celebrating its 40th anniversary later this year, Comic-Con, while originally a convention for comic book and science fiction/fantasy enthusiasts, has expanded into an annual pop-culture juggernaut that, as Kevin Smith says, has gone mainstream; in his view on par with Cannes, Sundance and even the Olympics. Even your mom has heard about it.
Now a sprawling mecca-like convention for film, television, horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, fantasy novels and more, Comic-Con has invaded every element and facet of pop-culture for better or worse, which is where Morgan Spurlock’s “Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope” documentary focuses its affable gaze.
Featuring testimonials by self-described geeks such as the aforementioned Kevin Smith, Joss Whedon (a producer/writer on the film), Seth Green, Harry Knowles (an executive producer on the film), Seth Rogen, Eli Roth, Stan Lee (another producer), and many more -- while clearly »

"Fringe" is back with it's spring premiere on Friday (Mar. 24) and it's going to be a big one. So big, in fact, that Joshua Jackson says you can't miss it. He says that this episode will answer the question about whether or not Peter will be successful in finding his home. Well, that is definitely a reason to tune in. As if you needed another one.
We spoke to Jackson at Wondercon, where he told us that he was geeking out over the event, saying, "It's my childhood imagination vomited into a convention center." We asked him what the highlight of filming the season has been. "The fun of this season was, for as much time as I've spent with John (Noble), working on the father-son relationship, and for as much time as Anna (Torv) and I have spent in this really tortured work dynamic and then love relationship, and then epic love relationship, »
The Hollywood Reporter has stated that the potential for “The Hunger Games” to open big is high. So big, that it could open at $100 million. According to the site, the film could make $100 million just from the domestic debut alone. This astronomical number is crazy, but it is a big possibility. Just think of how aggressively this movie was marketed, coupled with the massive fanbase as well as the “Twilight” fans that could come just to see the trailer for the final “Twilight” movie that’s attached to the film. The event will be huge, so it’ll be exciting to see how the numbers game plays out. You can »
