Well this movie back in the 50s was a very good one, this movie is the life of Cuban National poet Jose Marti and it was a Cuban Mexican co production something they did very often back then, the stars of the movie are major actress from Cuban stage , Cinema and Television special Gina Cabrera1928-..? and Raquel Revuelta1926-2004, miss Revuelta will became Cuban biggest movie star in the time between the 1960s to 1980s a great beauty and a great and very technical actress she was the star of the movie Lucia ones of Cuban best movie ever made and she specially herself in eastern European play like Gorki or Bretch she was mainly an stage actress she was the founder of teatro estudio in havana something similar to the actor studio of ny but here Gina Cabrera play the lead a beauty herself and a very sweet and good actress sometime later in her life she became insane and nobody know for sure if she is alive or dead today a very sad fact in her life, Gina was very good in this movie and did few others movie before the Cuban revolution she was mainly a stage and television actress
