Rampaging robot
1 December 2013 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Robot Rabbit is one of the most memorable of the Bugs Bunny cartoons as it goes rather futuristic and science fiction. Friz Freleng directed this short starring Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd.

Elmer owns a farm in Indiana and as always is irritated by Bugs Bunny who always get one up on our doe eyed Fudd.

Elmer decides to go hi-tech and gets a robot from ACME pest control, after some initial programming which consists of showing the robot of an animal with long ears the robot goes off to work, which means blasting anything with long ears but may not necessarily be a rabbit.

This is a funny cartoon as Bugs is involved in a few close scrapes, some genuinely funny scenes including enticing the robot with a female robot. A classic Bugs Bunny short.
