Factual errors: When Rocky and Winky were traveling toward the Space Station to warn them of the "Atmosphere chain", they asked the Space Station's radio operator to call back the ship that had recently left. Not awful but no action, 5 March 2002
Author: Jeff (Inthegoodlife@Aol.com) from Jacksonville, FL

Crash of the Moons is a decent experience which suffers from way too many "special effects" shots of rockets slowly taking off and landing and little or no action other then a fistfight or two. Richard Crane is Space Ranger Rocky Jones. He makes a solid if somewhat goofy and light leading man. Scotty Beckett as Winky is one of those characters that you can't help but dislike. The same can be said for Robert Lyden as Bobby, who's scripted to be irritating beyond belief. Sally Mansfield as Vena makes a cute, femmie little 50's space heroine and Maurice Cass as Professor Newton is given plenty of chances to show what appear to be definite signs of senility. John Banner as Bavarro is incredibly and unbelievably good natured while Patsy Parsons is pouty and very whiny as the evil Cleolanta. If there is an attempted parallel trying to be drawn between Cleolanta and Cleopatra, then it doesn't work very well. The cast dominates the scenes with talk and space jargon while the early attempts at special effects, such as rockets taking off, are shown ad nauseum. A very methodical movie, decently plotted in spots but way too dull.
