The final broadcast of this summer replacement series was on 13 September 1953.
A number of episodes of this series (produced on film) were located by archivist Ira Gallen. As much of the DuMont Television Network's programming archive was destroyed after the network ceased broadcasting, the survival of these episodes is quite unexpected, considering it was a summer replacement series.
According to the New York Times television listings from the summer of 1953, the program aired on the DuMont Television Network on Sunday nights at 10:30 Eastern Time.
Bob Shreve as "Country Cousin Alvin", wore a sideways deerstalker cap and a necktie that stood up on its own accord. He also wore this same outfit as "Elmer Diffledorfer" on the WLW television show "The General Store."
