Richard Denning thwarts the Red Chinese
25 June 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Had I viewed the new DVD print of "Target Hong Kong", I might have enjoyed it more and rated it a 6, not a 5.

This is indeed a solid, action-packed and fast-moving story, running 64 minutes in my old print and said to be 61 minutes on the new release.

Richard Denning and Michael Pate play soldiers of fortune at a time when China was Red and the Nationalists of Chiang Kai-shek were on Formosa but still battling.

B-movie fans will recognize Philip Ahn and Richard Loo.

The story has an interesting double cross and good battle footage integrated in. With Fred Sears as director, you can count on a decent movie.
