(1953) James Stewart is at his most ruthless as a bitter bounty hunter on the hunt for outlaw Robert Ryan, a smooth talker who manages to chip away at the group of drifters who have attached themselves to Stewart's mission, in the edgy western directed by Anthony Mann. Janet Leigh is the girl caught in the middle of it all, Ralph Meeker is a reckless cavalry washout, and Millard Mitchell is a sourdough prospector who sees his motherlode in the bounty on Ryan's head.

Five disc box set featuring six films starring Hollywood's beloved Jimmy Stewart. The highlight is the jagged western The Naked Spur (1953), directed by favorite Stewart collaborator Anthony Mann and featuring Stewart as a bitter bounty hunter on the trail of conniving and charming outlaw Robert Ryan. Stewart plays real life aviation legend Charles A. Lindbergh in The Spirit Of St. Louis (1957), directed by Billy Wilder, real life Chicago White Sox pitcher Monty Stratton in The Stratton Story (1949), and real life FBI Agent Chip Hardesty in The FBI Story (1959). The final disc features a double feature of late westerns, both co-starring Henry Fonda: The Cheyenne Social Club (1971), a comedy directed by Gene Kelly, and Fire Creek (1968).
