Trivia

Rather than letting Susan Whitney speak her own lines in the final scene, when she appears with stage makeup to age her appearance so as to appear as Lucia did at age 47, the filmmakers dubbed in the very recognizable voice of Angela Clarke who also dubs the Virgin Mary. See more »

Goofs

The narrator opened the scene at Fatima saying, "Here we are in the mountain village of Fatima on Sunday, May 15, 1917". That Sunday was on the 13th of the month, and the lady asked the children to return for six months in succession on the 13th day to the Cova da Iria, as the movie itself indicates. See more »

One of the great films...
6 January 2001 | by See all my reviews

A copy of this film was given to me as a gift. I would've never thought to have watched this, but all I can say after viewing this is WOW! This film is almost flawless. A great, spiritual story (and a true one), and all the actors are really good, especially the man who plays 'Hugo'. Seek this one out. You won't regret it.
