This is a routine Monogram western about gold prospecting and claim jumping.Anne Cornell makes a spirited female lead, just as much involved in gunplay as the other male characters.however I was very surprised to see that the part of the gold prospector was Ralph Morgan, brother of Frank, almost unrecogniseable in the part of the old prospector. Also there among the crowd was none other than Tom Kennedy. This has all the usual plot points you would expect in a film of this type.Lots of fights,a knife throwing Indian, and a clever horse.By the time this film was made its type was on the verge of extinction as it would of course end up on TV.Still a pleasant reminder of the time when films such as this were a common sight at your local cinema.
