This compilation film was stitched together using the first two episodes of "The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok" television series: Near the end of the Americal Civil War, "Wild Bill" Hickok, Union Army spy, is trying to get back to his lines disguised in a Confederate general's uniform. He is stopped by a bumbling sentry, Jingle P. Jones, but manages to turn in his report. Hickok takes a liking to Jones and then, as a U. S. Marshal, takes him west with him to investigate a miner's protective association that is taking advantage of the honest miners. They break this up in less than two-reels running time.
