Wilson "whips" up a standard western
25 August 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Whip Wilson starred in a number of Post-WWII western programmers, of varying quality and variety. In this one, The whip-wielding cowboy finds himself battling corruption and fraud in a rodeo-extortion ring. Along with pals Fuzzy Knight and Jim "Red Ryder" Bannon, Wilson takes on the henchmen and proceed to clean up the circuit.

Wilson's films are rarely shown today, even less so than the similar Lash LaRue series of films. This film was at best average, but the supporting cast does help somewhat. I prefer Lash LaRue's films, even though this one was a little better produced ..... Whip Wilson simply lacked the charisma to carry his own western film series.
