Although the conduct of the young is flawless, a third person causes slander which oblige "don Julio" to fight in mourning to death.
Melodrama of time, solid, founded on a basis literary, "El Gran Galeoto" is the work more adapted theatrically of Jose Echegaray, who was Nobel Prize for Literature, and even knew a version in silent movies in Hollywood, with Ramon Novarro as actors and John M. Stahl as director. The movie has an extraordinary photography in black and white of pitch twilight of a grand master Enrique Guerner and Michel Cléber, the latter a prestigious Russian operator who arrived in Spain and became a major hole in our cinematography It also has perfect scenarios, decorated and landscaping, which surprised in comparison to other films by those same years. The three main actors have a very good, and hear the extraordinary voice of Jose Maria Lado that we brings back memories of a multitude of dubbed movies The players make a very good job, and They form a cast. of the best that had in the 1950. "El Gran Galeoto" is a film very interesting.
