1951
15 October 1951It's Fred and Ethel's 18th wedding anniversary, Ethel wants to go to the Copa Cabana and Fred wants to go to the fights. Lucy helps Ethel to try and change the boys minds and Ricky helps Fred to do the same with the girls. Neither side will give in so Lucy tries to find dates to escort her and Ethel to the Copa, when Ricky finds out he tells Fred they need to find dates so they can go to the Copa and keep an eye on the girls. They both end up calling the same person for help with finding escorts and the result was the beginning of TV's funniest sitcom ever.

Season 1, Episode 7: The Seance
26 November 1951In this episode, Lucy gets superstitious with the daily Horoscope. When she explains to theatre producer Mr. Merriweather that Ricky's horoscope is not Ricky's day and he should say no, Lucy once again convinces Ricky to invite Mr. Merriweather to contact his beloved Tilly. However, the Ricardos get a big surprise of who Tilly really is.
3 December 1951When Lucy gets mad at how sloppy Ricky is, she decides to get back at him by only cleaning 'her half' of the apartment. When a magazine photographer comes to photograph the place for a musician's magazine, she goes all out and makes it as messy as she can.
10 December 1951Lucy thinks a mink coat that Ricky rented for a dance number at the club is actually her anniversary gift. She's so thrilled that Ricky can't bring himself to tell her the truth. He plans to fake a burglary to get it away from her.
17 December 1951After reading a newspaper article planted by Ricky's press agent, Ethel convinces Lucy that Ricky is fooling around with the lead dancer in his nightclub act.

Ethel is less than excited about it, complaining that Fred has a history of giving her horrible gifts. Lucy urges Ethel to sneak a peek at what's inside. Reluctantly unwrapping the gift, Ethel pulls out a pair of strange-looking pants, gives them a quizzical glance and exclaims, "Well, he's done it again." Lucy hides her dismay, speaking up for Fred, trying to explain that they are chic hostess pants, the kind you wear to "smart dinner parties." Ethel is unimpressed, saying, "Oh, I've been wondering what to wear to all those smart dinner parties." When Lucy reveals that it was she and not Fred who selected the gift, this leads to an argument and an estrangement. In Act II, Ricky and Fred scheme to get the girls together again by taking them both to the theater to see a new hit show, "Over the Teacups". Ethel and Lucy are forced to sit together as they watch the play. Their anger toward each other softens as they listen to the play, a drama in which the main character is presented with news of a friend's death.

She pretends to be his new agent and confronts the MGM brass, saying he has an offer to do a big Broadway musical. Instead of putting him in a movie right away, MGM releases Ricky from his contract.
Season 4, Episode 30: The Tour
30 May 1955Lucy gets stranded in Richard Widmark's house after trying to steal a grapefruit from a tree in his backyard.
3 October 1955Lucy complains that she doesn't have nearly enough Hollywood souvenirs, a statement with which Ricky takes issue. When she and Ethel go to the Grauman's Chinese Theater, they notice that John Wayne's footprints are loose, so they pry the cement block out of the ground and take it back to the hotel.
10 October 1955Ricky receives a phone call from the police; they intend to prosecute Lucy and Ethel if John Wayne's footprints are not returned intact. Having broken them, that is obviously impossible, so Ricky convinces John Wayne to provide a new set of footprints.
17 October 1955Lucy receives a phone call from M-G-M asking Ricky if he wants to perform in a show for the executives. Lucy says that he'll do it if she can perform with him. Ricky won't perform in the show at all, so Lucy uses a dummy that the studio made of Ricky in the act.
24 October 1955While the gang is in Hollywood, Ricky sells the car. The Mertzes are afraid they are going to be stuck in California.
31 October 1955On the trip back to New York, Lucy learns a jewel thief is on the train.
