Johnny Mack Brown, Interior Department agent, arrives with the news that the entire territory is to be thrown open for homesteaders, and Miller and his gang resolve to keep them out. Panhandle Jones and his wife Nora, old retainers of the formerly-honest Miller, secretly write to the latter's grandson, Terry Draper, hoping he can bring the old man to his senses. This 1950 cowboy film stars former gridiron star Johnny Mack Brown. He headlines this interesting western programmer, as a US Government agent investigating a land swindling scheme. Henchmen are bound & determined to stop homesteading on land that that they know holds ample gold reserves .

Brown is in fine form in this familiar, program western. The lovely Gail Davis is always great, handling action, romance and thrills equally well. The supporting cast also features several cowboy regulars, including the prolific Myron Healey.

This isn't Shakespeare, but as a B-western it's a pretty fair shoot-em up !
