Good and entertaining film of Ladislao Vajda.
28 February 2010 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

The editor of events and the chronicler of society of newspaper "La Jornada" involved in the news of the "seventh page", these news can that for readers may lack the relationship between them, but as a whole presented a vision of what life is in reality.

It starts with the drafting of daily "La Jornada" of Madrid, according to several of its reporters that lead us to parallel stories, and in some cases convergent. In these stories are mixed hunting-dowries, wives infidels, lovers of bankers and a frame criminal ends with the inclusion of the events counted in the film, once completed, in the seventh page of "La Jornada", its subsequent publish and its distribution by the city, narrated in a clear and understandable, Is the characteristic style of master Ladislao Vajda, with exciting films com "Mi tío Jacinto", " Es geschah am hellichten Tag", "An angel step by Brooklyn," "Marcelino Pan y Vino". We also show some magnificent stage of Madrid at the time (Cibeles, Gran Via, Puerta de Alcala. Faculty of Medicine, Paseo de las Acacias, …) We also see a cast of actors from first level as Luis Prendes, Alfredo Mayo, Jose Maria Rodero, Francisco Cano, María Asquerino, Joaquin Roa, Jose Isbert, Manolo Morán, and Rafael Romero Marchént (followed magnificent director).
