  • Prof. Millard pretends to be dead and helps Jeff King ferret out Vulcan, the evil traitor at the science academy. Donning his Rocket Man costume King goes from one hair raising rescue to the next in order to keep the newly invented Decimator out of the clutches of Vulcan and his minions.

  • Diabolical Dr. Vulcan causes the deaths of Professors Drake (Dale Van Sickel) and Millard (James Craven)of Science Associates, a privately-operated desert research project. The 'accidents' attract the attention of Glenda Thomas (Mae Clarke), photographer for Miracle Science Magazine. She visits the project and is placated by Burt Winslow('House Peters Jr'), publicity director, and Jeff King (Tristram Coffin'), a project member. Later, Jeff is attacked by two of Vulcan's henchmen and he routs them. Jeff visits a remote cave where he has been hiding Professor Millard, whose life was miraculously saved. Millard shows him a rocket-powered flying suit which he and Jeff have perfected. When needed, Jeff dons the suit and, as the mysterious Rocket Man, thwarts endless sinister plans of Dr. Vulcan to get control of Science Associates' devices which, if controlled by the wrong party, could easily wreak world disaster. Vulcan, a member of Science Assocaites, using an alias, gets possession of a powerful Decimator, capable of disintegrating rock strata, and plans to use it to destroy New York City if the mayor refuses to meet his billion dollar ransom demand.

  • A group of atomic researchers, Science Associates, is being decimated by remote control. The survivors suspect that the villain, calling himself "Dr. Vulcan," is one of themselves, bent on a monopoly of their technological wonders. Jeff King is assigned to safeguard the group's secrets; for a professor, he's very handy with his fists, and has the added advantage of a secret, experimental rocket suit that enables him to fly! But Dr. Vulcan has deadly devices also. Can the Rocket Man expose Vulcan without revealing his own identity?
