Storyline

Donald is working in his greenhouse when he notices a bee harvesting nectar (well, actually, it appears to already be honey). Donald tries various approaches to find the hive, which despite the bee's best efforts to throw him off, he eventually discovers in the radiator of an old car. He drains the honey and starts to leave when the bee spots him and mounts an attack. The bee adds a cactus needle to extend his stinger. Donald relents and returns the honey all but one jar, until the bee spots him. Written by Jon Reeves <jreeves@imdb.com>

Appealing Donald Duck cartoon with "Buzz-Buzz" as adversary...
30 March 2008 | by (U.S.A.) – See all my reviews

HONEY HARVESTER gives Donald Duck ample opportunity to strut his stuff again against his adversarial bee friend--"Buzz-Buzz"--this time with the bee doing a "Whistle While You Work" routine as he enjoys himself in Donald's greenhouse gathering as much honey as he can.

The fun starts when Donald comes strutting into the greenhouse and discovers the bee at work. Naturally, he tries to outwit the little devil but is never able to stop him from getting his way. He does manage to use the cork trick again, but the bee only launches another attack with a bigger stinger. The story ends with Donald running for his life as the bee loses his temper once again.

Funny, but getting a little repetitive by this time. Clarence Nash supplies the Donald Duck voice.

Amusing but nothing extraordinary.
