VENGEANCE IS MINE is a rare and unusual British crime film with a short running time and subsequently fast pace. I saw it via the Talking Picture TV channel which turns up all kinds of obscurities here in the UK. The film features a starring role for popular radio personality Valentine Dyall, here playing a man who is slowly dying and determined to wreak revenge on the person who ruined his life. The plot has various intricacies and twists as it trundles along, and it features a notable role for Sam Kydd, so usually relegated to brief cameos in all kinds of features throughout the 1950s.
