Storyline

After serving bravely in WWII, American Paul remains in France and becomes a black marketeer. He meets Christine, an attractive French girl whose husband is in jail for collaborating with the Nazis, and they fall in love. Director Delmar Davis ran into a Paris shop after filming a street scene in front of it with Dennis Morgan and Viveca Lidfors. The proprietor was at loss to understand why the "crazy American" had insisted upon purchasing every item in the window.
