Trivia

The failure of the original copyright holder to renew the film's copyright resulted in it falling into public domain, meaning that virtually anyone could duplicate and sell a VHS/DVD copy of the film. Therefore, many of the versions of this film available on the market are either severely (and usually badly) edited and/or of extremely poor quality, having been duped from second- or third-generation (or more) copies of the film. A very enjoyable little drama

I am surprised that no one has commented it yet. A good B picture telling us the story of an ordinary man - a simple construction worker

  • who is false accused of the murder of his foreman, he accused of

cheating at a poker game. So he runs away and finds refuge in a skyscraper painting little company. He meets an old employee, with whom he sympathizes. And tells him his story...

I won't spoil you the rest of this little feature, except I don't think TCM would air this film on a 11th of September day. Too many bad souvenirs, I guess.

A good surprise, I repeat, and very rare too. Look for Jack Lambert, in a petty character, but not a really villain one.
