The Bixbys, typical small-town parent, are all abuzz over the impending arrival of their daughter, Margaret, who has been working in San Francosco for over a year, and so his her local fiancée, Lawrence White, a stuffy, pompous aspiring aristocrat. Her teen-age brother, Artur, is undisturbed as he keeps practicing his jitterbug routines and cooing on the telephone to his girlfriend, Valerie Jeanne Bradford. However,Margaret has just married a sailor, James Clark, and brings him along but, wishing to break the news a bit at a time, introduces him as a friend. The family does not take the news kindly, nor does stuffy Lawrence. The marriage faces some problems. Arthur has a plan to avert and divert the problems. His plan is not without some problems of its own. Written by Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
