The UCLA Film and Television Archive has nearly every episode of this series in their collection.
Even though CBS cancelled the series, the network insisted it still had intellectual property rights. To accommodate CBS' demands, the nightclub setting was changed from the Golden Goose to the Silver Swan, and Art Carney's goofy character changed from Charlie the Doorman to Newton the Waiter.
Between 1949-50, this series aired over the DuMont Television Network on Thursday evenings at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The last broadcast was on October 12, 1950.
The CBS version ended March 7, 1949.
