Quotes
-
Charlie Dog : [as Porky is trying to push him out] Oh, don't! Oh, please don't! It's not good for me to be roughly handled... the way I am.
Porky Pig : What do you mean, the-the way you are?
Charlie Dog : Well, uh...
[whispers on Porky's ear]
Porky Pig : N-n-n-no!
[Charlie nods coyly]
Porky Pig : Oh, why-why didn't you tell me before? Oh, y-you must take it easy. N-now, just lie right down here, and I-I'll go get you some nice, warm mil-mil-broth.
[Cut to Charlie eating broth in bed]
Porky Pig : I-is there anything else I can get for you, uh, uh... By the way, w-what is your name?
Charlie Dog : Charlie.
Porky Pig : [Angry] Ch-Ch-Charlie?
[Smashes the murphy bed against the wall, leaving a hole shaped like Charlie on the wall]
Charlie Dog : [Peeking from the front door] Well, there actually was such a case in Venezuela.
-
Charlie Dog : And so it went, day in and day out. But, here I am.
[Porky enters the car and kicks both dogs out]
Porky Pig : And st-stay out! How many times do I have to tell you I d-don't want a dog?
[Drives away]
Charlie Dog : [laughing] That's what I love about him! Always gaggin' and joshin'! What a cod!
[Chases after Porky]
Charlie Dog : Hey, wait for baby!
[whistles]
Charlie Dog : Wait for baby! Wait!
Rags McMutt : Is that what you got to go through to get a master?
[Runs back to dog pound and bangs on the gate]
Rags McMutt : Hey, let me in! Let me in! Open up, let me in!
-
Charlie Dog : Okay, I can take a hint. I know when I'm not wanted.
[Starts packing Porky's things]
Charlie Dog : A house doesn't have to fall on me. Believe me, I'm leaving, and don't you try to stop me, either, I wouldn't stay in this house another minute. I'm going home to mother!
[Leaves out the door, stopping to pick up a lamp next to the door. Then he reenters]
Charlie Dog : Mother wasn't home.
-
Charlie Dog : [Opening line] Well, if it ain't Rags McMutt. I never forget a face.
-
Charlie Dog : Look, chum. You ain't got no dog, I ain't got no master, so I'll make you a preposition. I am a full-blooded, pedigreed, half-Collie, half-Airedale, half-Pekinese, half-Saint-Bernard, with just a pinch of Spitz. Now, where could you get a combination like that? What do you say, chum? Going, going, going...
Porky Pig : [Tosses Charlie out the door] Gone!
