This was the first time John Laurenz played Richard Martin's Chico Rafferty character. He played him a second time in "Code Of the West". In addition to his film work, he was a singer for the Earle Hagen Orchestra and made many recordings. His records include "Among My Souvenirs". "For Sentimental Reasons," "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" and many others.
Jane Greer (Lolita) and Steve Brodie (Slagle) both later appeared in two other films, Station West (1948) and Out of the Past (1947).
