Lloyd Corrigan slices his way into trouble
13 September 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Widowed Lloyd Corrigan is the happy father of two grown daughters, Terry Moore the younger and Anita Louise the older. The girls have boy friends and Louise will soon marry, it appears. Their idyllic lives are interrupted and their family life unsettled through a golfing mishap of Corrigan. After achieving a hole-in-one, he slices his next drive into a ravine and culvert. This leads him to discover a body and counterfeit plates wrapped up, and it leads the crooks, including Wilton Graff, to him when he takes the plates. Complications galore ensue. The lighthearted tone becomes serious and the story becomes a recognizable noir, as classified by the critics nowadays. It's a neat little story. The acting is lively.
