Trivia

The failure of the original copyright holder to renew the film's copyright resulted in it falling into public domain, meaning that virtually anyone could duplicate and sell a VHS/DVD copy of the film. Therefore, many of the versions of this film available on the market are either severely (and usually badly) edited and/or of extremely poor quality, having been duped from second- or third-generation (or more) copies of the film. Its just...bad
7 February 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I got this movie in a cheap box set of 50 movies, and it is possibly the worst of the 50. That should tell you how bad it is. Very poorly executed by the writers, director and most of the actors it is neither suspenseful, funny nor charming (which is hard to do with the ultra-charming actor Jack Haley).

You will be aware of how annoying it is as you watch it, and likely won't watch all the way through. I didn't watch it all the way, after all there were 49 better films in the box. Retain this hour of your life for more worthwhile experiences. Don't waste your time on "Scared Stiff".
