Storyline

A homely maid and a scarred ex-GI meet at the cottage where she works and where he was to spend his honeymoon prior to his accident. The two develop a bond and agree to marry, more out of loneliness than love. The romantic spirit of the cottage, however, overtakes them. They soon begin to look beautiful to each other, but no one else. Written by Daniel Bubbeo <dbubbeo@cmp.com>

Soothing, healing, appealing film!
31 January 2002 | by (Atlanta) – See all my reviews

This film has the power to entertain, as well as heal. My wife and I watch it every so often, to put that sweetness back into life. What other film can do that? The acting is superb; the actors are alive with their roles. A stirring suspense abounds.
