Kurt Muller: [in response to an Italian man on the train asking what he does] I fight against fascism. That is my trade.
Kurt Muller: I do what must be done. That is what I know how to do.
Bodo: [Addressing Anise and discussing her French accent] Yes your accent is from the North, that is fine country. We were in hiding there once.
Sara Muller: [Last Lines] When the time comes. When it comes, I will do my best.
Kurt Muller: I do not tell you this story to prove that we are remarkable but to prove that they are not.
Fanny Farrelly: There is a great deal of gossip about both of you.
David Farrelly: ...There is nothing to gossip about.
Fanny Farrelly: That never stopped anybody from gossiping.
Fanny Farrelly: Because it's Anise's birthday, I shall go and buy presents for everybody. We always do that here. It started because I don't like not getting presents on other people's birthday.
