Eric Portman and Peter Glenville are a song and dance team. Thier opening number"A little Bear behind" is the highspot of this film. Portman becomes involved in the printiting and distribution of an underground resistance newsletter. However Portman decides to split from a bitter Glenville. Glenville decides to inform on the Resistance forthe 50000 francs reward. This leads to the capture of members of the Resistance. Howevr Portman manages to print and distribute another newsletter thereby defying the Nazis.

The problem with this film is that the Nazis were shown as clowns and buffoons, which they were not. Raymond Lovell gives his usual unsutble performance. The British film industry did not do this sort of film very well.
