Storyline
Plot Summary |
'Doc' Higgins (Tom Chatterton) is a tireless worker in promoting the drilling of an oil well, as he knows that when oil is struck, the Southern Texas Railroad Company will run a trunk-line through his town, restoring prosperity to the valley. John 'Pop' Travers is financing the project, but a mysterious series of setback has made him dubious of putting any more money in the project. The reverses are the result of sabotage by the henchmen of Sam Daggett (Frank Jaquet), local saloon owner, who holds a second option lease on the oil property. TRavers calls in his friends the Three Mesquiteers, Tucson Smith (Bob Steele), Stony Brooke (Tom Tyler) and Lullaby Joslin (Rufe Davis.)
