Super-8 Movie Madness August 2nd at The Way Out Club

28 July 2011 8:37 AM, PDT | | See recent news »

Remember Kentucky Fried Movie? It was an early Zucker Bros comedy from ’77 comprised of hilarious 5-minute sketches and in the middle was the 30-minute Fistful Of Yen, a spot-on spoof of Enter The Dragon. For the Tuesday August 2nd Super-8 Movie Madness show at the Way Out Club, they will be showing a Super-8 (slightly) condensed version of Fistful Of Yen (18 minutes) and make motion picture exhibition history by preceding it with an 18-minute condensed version of Enter The Dragon so the audience can enjoy the satire even more. Pretty cool, huh?

The other films (these are Super-8 Sound films condensed from features that average 15 minutes in length) to be shown August 2nd are: The Day The Earth Stood Still, Titanic (the ’57 version with Barbara Stanwyck), Damien The Omen 2, Lon Chaney in The Wolfman, The Three Stooges in Sweet Pie And Pie, Airport ’77, Another Kentucky Fried Movie reel with 18 minutes of short sketches, »
