Introduction of the four little hellions, but as Popeye's sons, not the nephews they would be later. This change was likely due to positive audience response to the nonexistent dream characters, which were subsequently added to the regular cast without altering the Popeye-Olive-Bluto love triangle.
This cartoon features the characters Pipeye, Peepeye, Pepeye, and Pupeye in their first appearance as Popeye and Olive's children in a dream sequence. The characters were later re-introduced properly in Me Musical Nephews (1942) as Popeye's nephews, where "pepeye" would be named "poopeye".
