Seven years of Bad luck is part of a comedy series that was With the team of Theo Ligens and Hans Moser. This feature has slap stick or the German term Schtick! Actress Clara Tobody is also in this . Would play the leading role in the 1943 musical Mask in Blue as a blond with less makeup more natural looking. But in this film Her hair , dark, is natural and she has heavier make up on her, and she is more of a character role.Wolf Albach Retty plays Heinz Kerstin. He and his accident prone butler, played by Theo Ligens,are on a trip.Theo get in a mess when he accidentally leaves half of Heinzes baggage's out from the train and almost ends up missing it. When they both are in the train Theo is n one car and meets Clara and Heinz meets Gerty.They fall in love. Well it turns out She's the daughter of veteran Dr Teisinger and his wife ,played by Ida Wust who was the Spring Byington of German cinema.There's one problem Heinz is superstitious.He believes that if glass breaks he's have bad luck. Well i accidentally went to sleep a few minutes to miss what character Oskar Sima all about. It seems he Heinz and Gertie had a fight. Hans and Theo get together to bring them together, Theos problem is that he's accident prone . One scene he fall out from the Dr window holding on to a screen rod and Hans Gertie and Ida and a friend try to pull him back into the window but the fire men save him. Theo goes out with Clara to a Hungarian bar and gets drunk and they dance. Hans Moser goes to a bar and drinks and sings a Viennesse song to the the patrons. I can imagine him singing The waltz of Vienna.He comes back drunk and Ida is so mad she forces him to sleep on the couch, Theo comes home drunk and accidentally sleeps next to Ida until she wakes up and chases him out. Since Gertie and Heinze are mad with each other , she agree with her father to marry Oscar Simas character. Theo puts up a trick where he send flower with sleeping medicine causing all the church members to go to sleep including the bride so Theo is able to take her back home so he and Hans can fix it up with both Heinz and Gerti. Earlier Heinz is getting drunk with Clara cause he 's upset about not being with Gertie. Theo makes a mistakes and breaks the mirror knowing that for Hienz that means bad luck. Moser can't get a mirror replacement before he show up so. Theo does the old Harpo marks and Lucille ball routine with what used to be the glass on the wooden frame,as Heinz looks at the mirror and Theo copies his movements looking at him when he's stares at what used to be the mirror. He does all routine until Clara shows up and slaps Theo for not showing up. Heinz realizes the glass is broken and now he thinks he has bad luck.finally a mirror is replaced and Hans and Theo are not aware of it until Theo knocks the glass and breaks it again. Well finally Heinz and Gertie get together and Hans and Theo plan the next adventure.
