Xbox Live Games with Gold for January 2017 announced

Games with Gold for January 2017 have been announced earlier than usual to take into account the chaotic run up to Christmas Day, and the first month of 2017 will be offering Xbox gamers the opportunity to enjoy some great fighting action and some classic platforming gameplay.  Players will get to play four new titles and the possibility of adding over 4500 to their gamer score in the New Year.

For the Xbox One for all of January Gold members will get to play some hybrid tower defence action with The World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap and from 16th January until 15th February  members can test their fighting skills with Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition.

For the Xbox 360 until 15th January, gamers will get to do some exploring and adventuring in The Cave whilst from the 16th until the end of January players will be able to indulge in some classic platforming with Rayman Legends. »

Minerva launches Naples-set crime thriller 'Falchi'

Exclusive: Gangster drama features stars of Gomorrah, The Young Montalbano and Suburra.

Italian outfit Minerva Pictures is launching sales on Toni D’Angelo’s [pictured] Naples-set gangster melodrama Falchi, taking inspiration from the Southern Italian city’s real-life special police unit known as the “falchi”, or falcons, which is focused on fighting organised crime.

“It’s a powerful gangster-crime melodrama which we’re describing as Johnnie To meets Michael Mann. It mixes an auteur element with action,” said Minerva Pictures chief Gianluca Curti who is producing the film alongside Gaetano Di Vaio of Bronx Film. 

Fortunato Cerlino, best-known internationally for his role as mafia clan chief Pietro Savastano in Stefano Sollima’s Gomorrah, and Michele Riondino, of The Young Montalbano fame, will play Peppe and Francesco, two flawed but dedicated officers who work closely in the falcon squad.
