Oscar-nominated film exists at UCLA
31 July 2002 | by (Putney, VT) – See all my reviews

This is one of a dozen or so Republic films that exist only as preservation materials at the UCLA archives. The film was nominated for an Oscar in 1939 for Original Musical Score. UCLA holds two copies - one is incomplete and one has deterioration noted in two of the reels.
