Storyline

FBI Agent Bill Collins (Preston Foster) is assigned to stop a counterfeit sweepstakes tickets racket and meets Linda Parker (Irene Hervey), hotel cigar-stand attendant, who sells lottery tickets but is unaware they are counterfeit, as is Jerry Howard (Chick Chandler), who delivers them to her concealed in cigar boxes. On Bill's instructions, they gain the confidence of Duncan (Noel Madison), chief lieutenant of the crime syndicate, and obtain positions in his office in order to get information on the chief, called Mr. X by Duncan.
