Storyline

Porky and his friend Dizzy Duck go fishing, but their trip is cut short by a thunderstorm. They take refuge in an old building that appears haunted, though the biggest hazards are an old bearskin that lands on a swivel chair, a dog that gets tangled up in chains and a diving helmet, and their own clumsiness generally. . . . Dippy Goose asks Porky Pig after the latter screeches "There's a terrible (thunder)storm coming!" Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes are deservedly famed for containing oodles of warnings about America's upcoming Calamities, Catastrophes, Cataclysms, and Apocalypti for we Americans of the (then) Far Future 21st Century, and IT'S AN ILL WIND is a prime example. Warner's Animated Shorts Division scribes nail the attitude of Today's Rumpsters (or Tea Partiers) to a "T" in their deplorable enabling of Red Commie KGB Chief Vlad "The Mad Russian" Putin's takeover of our USA Homeland through the Rigged Election of an Electoral College Coup. The Keystone Kops Kapers depicted here, as Porky is snagged on a fishhook, with his dog getting bit by a turtle, stuck in a deep sea diver's helmet, and injured by a mousetrap reflect the Revelations making headlines daily now as they detail the Rump and Kushner Crime Families' activities in serving for decades as the primary money launderers allowing Putin and his seven Oligarch Buddies to filch ONE TRILLION BUCKS from the feckless people of Russia, while more than 200 U.S. generals and admirals graduated from Rump University's KGB Turncoat Training Program. As Porky's pet snuffs out the Fifth Columnist turtle's candle to end IT'S AN ILL WIND, is it really much of a stretch to view this as Warner's Marching Orders to begin eliminating all these High Treason Traitors immediately with Extreme Prejudice?
