Union Spy Wild Bill Hickok (George Houston), and his trusted aides, Whiney Roberts (Al St. John) and Steve Norris ('Dave O'Brien (I)' ), are entrusted by General U. S. Grant (Jack C. Smith with a message that counteracts a planned Confederate attack which might have delayed the end of the Civil War. After the war, Bill is invited by Steve to become his partner in a cattle-shipping depot at the Kansas end of a new railroad. He declines. A few years later, Steve and his partner are facing bankruptcy because a gang of desperadoes have blockaded the main pass from Texas to the depot, and are charging ten dollars a head to allow the cattle to pass. A new United States Marshal and his pal are sent to investigate, and turn out to be Wild Bill and Whiney Roberts.- Written by Les Adams <firstname.lastname@example.org>
