The plot and scenes of this 1937 movie are identical to the Hopalong movie entitled "Lost Canyon" made in 1942. The script and action follow almost word for word and step for step. The character names are changed, but their vocation and role in the story are the same (banker, lawyer, etc.). In the 1942 movie California (Andy Clyde) and Johnny (Jay Kirby) are Hopy's sidekicks.
