According to an article in the Pittsburgh Press (August 20, 1936), 90 cast members and technicians made the trip from Hollywood to Callander, Ontario, to work on this film.

The Dionne quintuplets worked 10:30 to 11:30 AM every day for four months on location in their home town of Callander for this film. This schedule allowed them to to honor their "personal appearance" commitments at the Dafoe nursery, where they were exhibited daily to tourists.
