Jimmy Kimmel is getting really candid on what he thinks of his fellow late-night hosts. The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host talked to People and EW editorial director Jess Cagle and dished on what he thinks of seven fellow TV personalities just days before he takes the stage for the 68th annual Emmy Awards. First up: Jimmy Fallon. "Rapist," Kimmel quipped when he was asked to state the first word that came to mind for each of his fellow hosts. "That's always the first word that comes to my mind all the time." On a more serious note, he said of Fallon: "The first word? »

Twitter Imagines Donald Trump as a Film Critic With #TrumpExplainsMoviePlots

19 August 2016 11:47 AM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

The Twitter-verse got very creative overnight with the trending hashtag #TrumpExplainsMoviePlots, where users wittily conjured up the way Donald Trump would describe a movie plot.

One tweet, takes a direct hit to Trump’s comments about Fox News commentator Megyn Kelly during a CNN interview, where he said:

“She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions,” said Trump. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my opinion, she was off base.” He later claimed that “wherever” meant Kelly’s nose.

The tweet poked fun at this line of reasoning: “A 10 gets killed in motel by loser. Blood coming of her whatever. Not a Trump hotel, folks.”

John Ostrander, Temporary Celebrity!

Last week I gave a review of the Suicide Squad movie. This week, I’m talking about my trip to NYC for the premiere.

I got in to the East Coast on 7/31 and stayed with my friends Tam and Kev English over in New Jersey, near to where I used to live. Tom Mandrake and Jan Duursema, who also live in the area, were going to be in town Sunday night before going on a trip so we all got together for a nice meal. Hilarity ensued.

Tom and Jan also gave me a box full of Kros: Hallowed Ground booty. This is stuff that will be going out to our subscribers and it is killer cool.

I took the train into Manhattan on Monday to join my old bud and oft-time editor and my date for the evening, the lovely and effervescent Mike Gold.  We were meeting for a pre-festivities lunch. »
