a fine non propaganda romantic comedy musical
22 January 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This was a fun movie with humor and music as much as I don't under stand German barely. This teams up with a husband and wife acting duo' The parents of the late Romy Schnieder , Magna Schnieder and Wolf Albach Rety. Richard Romanosky is planning to go on a ski trip with his assistant Leopold, played by Hans Moser, and his secretary Hilde, played by Magna Schnieder. He's planning to meet his boss for what ever reason I could not under stand who has his assistant ,played by Theo Ligens.HE already has a home at the mountains, that is Roman's Boss.Wolf Portrays Peter a ski instructor. Once Leo ,Roman, Hilde, shows up at the lodge, once Peter sees Hilde it's love at first site. All of a sudden they become Jeanette Mcdonald and Nelson eddy. They start to break out in a song in several scene's. One scene where they have a picnic with a snowman waiter snow tables and snow chair Magna Schneider has a good voice. In fact she had sang with Hans Sohnker in a another movie. But I heard it on the live 365 internet radio. The Wiermar Punk radio station. Mr Wolf also has a good voice. Unfortunately Romy did not inherit this quality.Unfortunately her boss meets a couple whom he thinks are okay.By this time the boss shows up with his assistant ,played by Theo Ligins, and gets and that he is talking to these people and did not wait till he shows up so the boss leaves and Theo is hungry. Well he takes them out to eat at the hotel restaurant. Ironicly this is New Years eve in Germany. Hilde makes an excuse not to finish the dance with her boss new friend so she can get together with Peter. Well it turns out the couple are a bunch of thieves as the lights are about to go out the man sneaks his hand into Romans Pocket and steals his wallet after the lights go on they greet good by. Once he discovers that his money is gone as they look all over the suite cases. then Hilde blames peter for this and thought to get it back. She ends up stealing his money. Well her boss and his has an argument and he quits. Until the police shows up with evidence who stoled his money. Hilde is happy about this but realizes she stolen Peters Money.Roman and his boss makes up and he stays at his job as manager of the radio store. Well Hilde calls up Peter who works at an Electric plant assistant. To explain the situation and hopes s he won't call the police cause she going to give the money back. It all ends happy. I gave it a 9 cause in Magna last scene where she was singing they cut it short creating interruption.
